Twenty-five years ago a promise was made between two sisters. Nancy Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to help find a cure for breast cancer. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we have a renewed commitment and determination to finally finish this race to find a cure for breast cancer. We are determined to put an end to the disease that is robbing so many of us of our mothers, sisters, aunts and friends. Join us. Become an activist to fight this terrible disease. Our new name, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and our new logo symbolizes this renewed commitment and determination. Our look is new, but our promise remains the same—to end breast cancer FOREVER!!
